The Lagoon 440 has a raised helm station with a good visibility. This area is not just the helmsman’s territory, it enhances the pleasure of cruising for all aboard.
This lagoon 440 is both a luxurious and innovating yacht. From the steering and seating position on the upper deck, you will benefit from a breathtaking 360-degree view. When at the helm and sailing at full speed, you will have the impression to fly a jet plane. Inside, it will offer you the comfort you would expect from a starred hotel. On board a Lagoon 440, whether inside or out, memorable sensations are guaranteed!
This boat is the Charter Version and is outfitted with four (4) cabins, each with it’s own head. The raised central helm station gives perfect 360° visibility and all the control lines are within easy reach. Even a reduced crew can easily maneuver the Lagoon 440. Her spacious aft cockpit is protected under a rigid bimini top. Passage to and from the saloon and galley is unhampered. The large dining table can either be set in the saloon or in the cockpit, or can also be stowed in a cleverly designed locker built in the bimini top.
All cabins have adequate locker storage and bookshelf space. The saloon on the bridge deck adjoining these 2 hulls is an open floor area with a 360 degree panoramic view, that includes a U-shaped settee sitting eight people comfortably, a full galley to starboard with a sliding window opening to the aft cockpit. The large L-shaped galley faces the cockpit and it has been designed as a professional area where the chef will be able to reveal all his skills. The aft cabins have queen-size central beds, and feature large hull fixed windows which allow in lots of natural light while offering an unequalled view. Cabin ventilation is assured by numerous opening portholes and hatches.
Panoramic windows abound and capture fantastic views. The L-shaped couch in the salon has storage underneath and an L-shaped galley has generous counter space. Spacious deck for dining, relaxing or catching some sun. Raised helm station allows for tremendous visibility. She also has beautiful wood joinery, smooth fiberglass work, large capacity electrical systems, state of the art navigation gear, effortless sail handling, spacious living areas, and galleys that rival your kitchen at home.
Hulls and decks are hand laid and then vacuum-bagged to ensure light weight and complete resin infusion. Hulls are solid fiberglass below the waterline. Closed-cell foam core is used above the waterline to minimize weight and provide extra stiffness. The deck is cored with balsa, and areas where deck hardware attaches are reinforced with solid glass. Rig is aluminum.
