At 6,900 pounds and 8'6" beam, the 270 is fully trailerable so you can take to the highway to start your next cruising adventure. Choose between two cockpit options depending on whether you prefer entertaining or watersports. Performance-minded, the only single engine stern drive in our Signature fleet accelerates with authority, tracks true and is dry riding in big water. Standard trim tabs level out shifting weight loads. An integrated swim platform creates a seamless look. Key options include a remote spotlight, aluminum radar arch, a windlass and a generator. The 270 comes standard with an AM/FM/CD player, MP3 jack, a dash remote and four waterproof speakers. The optional upgrade adds triaxial speakers, a 320 watt amplifier and a 10" subwoofer.

The engine room is accessed by way of an electrically actuated deck hatch in the cockpit sole. Details include:

The generous cockpit area with refreshment bar and seating for a small crowd lends itself to comfortable cruising and entertaining. The cockpit is most easily entered from the extended aft swim/boarding platform. This aft platform features non-skid decking, a hidden fold-out swim ladder, stainless steel handhold, flag station, transom storage compartment, shore power connection, hot/cold hand-held shower and two rod holders. Moving through the portside transom gate into the cockpit, one finds a three-person forward facing bench seat along the transom and a two-person bench facing aft with a removable table between. The forward bench and helm seat fold out and can convert to a sunpad. The portside of the cockpit features a refreshment bar with solid surface counter top, sink, stainless steel grabrail, and removable cooler that stores securely under the sink. Forward of the refreshment bar is a companion bench seating that allows one to lounge comfortably facing forward or aft. The helm station is located completely forward and to starboard featuring a two-person bench seat. Another notable feature of the cockpit is a walkthrough windshield section and steps allowing easy and safe access to the foredeck. Additional cockpit highlights include:

Entering the main cabin through a sliding door from the cockpit, one finds the galley to port and the head across to starboard. The dinette is situated completely forward and converts to comfortably sleep two overnight. A generous mid-cabin stateroom located completely aft in the cabin, accommodates two overnight guests.
