2007 Pershing 72
The concept and styling come from the pencil of Fulvio De Simoni, while the hull is the result of a study by the Engineering Division of the Ferretti Group. The hull is constructed with a sandwich Scrimp vacuum infusion technique with a balsa and vinylester resin core. Same procedure for deck and superstructure, where the core is in PVC and vinylester resin. The design of the line is beautiful and innovative, with a streamlined and slender appearance thanks to the “teardrop” cut of the side windows. The Pershing 72 'is equipped with 2 Mtu 12V 2000 M93 with 1,823 horsepower each, engines that allow a maximum speed of over 45 knots at 2.450 rpm and a cruising speed that the Shipyard states at 40 knots at 2.250 rpm.
