DIESEL POWER, ENCLOSED PILOTHOUSE, NICE! This well-rounded beauty hails from British Columbia and has been stored inside in recent years and shows beautifully. The enclosed pilothouse that keeps wind and water outside is a very nice feature that really extends your boating season when everyone else has turned in for the season. Monaro's are known for their quality, fuel efficiency, toughness and for having a smooth ride perfect for Pacific Northwest waters. She is roomy inside and out and very versatile for the season and the purpose you need. Make an appointment today to see her!
A weather tight bulkhead brings you to the raised pilothouse helm that is cozy and ideal for cruising with friends and enjoying the beauty around through its nearly uninterrupted 360-degree view. This space has two comfortable chairs at the helm and a long L-shaped cruising bench with a large cocktail/dinner table with beverage holder inserts. An extra lift-up panel enlarges the table and the two helm chairs can swivel to also utilize the table. The side and aft windows all open for ventilation. A few steps down from the pilothouse brings you into the main cabin of Alpenglow. To port is a petite galley with an Origo 4100 stove with cover, a refrigerator, a deep single basin sink, and storage cubbies. Across is the roomy vessel head with its large hand sink, plenty of counter space, storage and shower capabilities. Thirty-six gallons of water serve your on-board water needs. Forward of the head is a handy storage, counter space area, perfect for a microwave or a coffee pot or, perhaps, both. In the bow is a large convertible v-berth dinette with oodles of seating and sleeping room. There are reading lamps and generous storage cubbies along both walls that help you keep a tidy interior. An additional roomy berth for two tucks aft under the pilothouse and has a privacy curtain and reading lamps. There is even enough room to sit up and read. This gal has a little bit of everything you need for a comfy day cruise or weekend getaway. Comfort awaits you!
Alpenglow has a versatile deck space for the Alaska boater. This boat may seem more focused to the cruising boater, however, for those who do wish to fish, there are plenty of fishing features aboard this gal. Her nice swim step has sturdy railing, which nicely extends its usability … use it as a fishing platform or mount a barbecue. There is a special shallow fish cleaning locker in the stern and a safe-T STP 1600 pot puller lets you crab and shrimp to your heart’s delight without straining a muscle. The walk-around deck design lets you easily access the bow so you can drop in an extra line or two. A bimini top for the deck is included with this package and is great when fishing in the rain. Access her large engine room from the deck. There is lots of room to store tools, traps, deck chairs, or whatever fits. The cabin roof is also a great place to store large gear, like kayaks. The enclosed hardtop pilothouse extends your cruising and use into the off season while other boats are in storage. You will be amazed at the versatility of this boat model.
Alpenglow is nicely powered by her single 400 horsepower 2012 Volvo Penta D6 diesel inboard engine. With 500 hours on it, this engine has been nicely warmed up, but has a very long life ahead. She cruises nicely at 30 knots. The single fuel tank holds 153 gallons of fuel and utilization is an efficient 2.1 gallons per hour. She has a nice Muir electric winch with a 10kg stainless anchor, as well as a spare, for when anchoring is desired.
A well-rounded electronics package is included at the helm of Alpenglow, including a Furuno GPS and plotter, a NavNet integrated system, a Furuno depth sounder, DR54D-WXT Dopler radar, and an Icom VHF. She also has a transducer, battery charger, alternator, and all the modern systems you would expect to find on this type of cruiser. While at the dock, plug her into 30-amp shore power for your electrical needs. Entertainment is provided by an excellent Pioneer stereo system with speakers both inside and outside.
This package also comes with a West Marine HP-275 dingy with a Suzuki 2.5 horsepower auxiliary engine. Call today to see this boat in person!
