2007 Comet 45 Sport14m

House of Yachts Saildivision now presents this Comet 45 S for sale. Comet is built in true Italian quality and is the best of Italian craftsmanship. 

With three large cabins and one with an extra berth, two bathrooms with shower and separate shower area. Large longitudinal galley with two cooler boxes and plenty of storage space, to name a few. She is the ultimate cruising/racing sailor for the whole family. Cumulatus shows good results on the regatta course. At the same time it has conveniences and comfort above and below deck.

To give you a small overview; the sister ship Comet 51 Sport was a success for the yard, therefore they have kept the same design and style of their 45 S which was launched in 2007. The hull has been specially designed with optimal sailing characteristics in mind and she is very rigid. Bow and stern are designed for increased waterline length. The freeboard is high so that the deckhouse could be kept low and be almost flush.

It is safe to walk across the deck with wide doll tables and a very large and clear cockpit that extends all the way back to the open transom. With smart solutions for efficient and optimal sailing, the designer has thought of many things. A large hatch at the front of the deck provides free access to the shower area with doors so it is easy to drop wet sails down while sailing. All ropes and joints are retracted into the cockpit and with double steering positions and two electric winches with two gears, it is easy to sail alone. The current owner announces that it is fun when the speedometer shows 14 knots.
