GENERAL
DOROTHEA III offers accommodations for up to 9 guests in 5 staterooms plus a gym, and sleeps up to 9 crew. She features the ultimate private owner's deck, with stateroom, en suite, and sitting room located on the bridge deck.
OWNER
The Owner’s suite consists of the entire bridge deck from the wheel house aft. There are two ways to enter the suite, either via the main internal staircase or from the external aft deck up a set of stairs.
GUESTS
Guest VIP Cabin is located below deck featuring a King Size bed, sofa/love seat, vanity and hanging lockers. There is plenty of natural light through (2) large port lights. The trim work is oak with polished stainless steel hardware and floors are off white wool carpeting.
Port Guest Cabin Forward features a king size bed, vanity, hanging lockers and two large port lights for natural light. The trim work is Oak with polished stainless steel hardware and floors are off white wool carpeting.
Starboard Guest Cabin Forward features twin berths, vanity, hanging locker and two large port light for natural light. The trim work is Oak with polished stainless steel and off white wool carpeting.
CREW
The crew spaces were designed by Ron Holland and finished in a Herreshoff style theme much like a classic sailing yacht. The floors and all trim work is teak, the walls are finished in a flat white.
The Captain's cabin is located on the main deck forward of the starboard side guest entrance with private head. Engineer and chef each have their own cabins which share a head. There are two additional cabins forward each with two berths, head and one pullman berth. All of the cabins have plenty of natural light through large port lights. Each cabin has the Alphatron intercom system which is connected directly to the bridge. The cabins have Clarion stereos with CD player and (2) JBL speakers. The crew heads are also finished in white with teak trim. The counter tops and floors are green Avonite.

DOROTHEA III has cruised more than 170,000 miles in the past 8 years. She has undergone two major refits - the first in 2011 and the second in 2015 after having completed two Atlantic crossings and South Pacific, North Pacific, and West Coast of North America cruising totaling over 70,000nm. DOROTHEA III recently completed an Atlantic and South America circumnavigation including cruising the fjords of southern Chile and Argentina.

DOROTHEA III is equipped with a single propeller, which offers benefits such as 35% fewer emissions, lower maintenance, and increased safety with two separate engine rooms. She consumes only 26.4 gallons per hour at 10 knots, giving her a range of over 6,000 nautical miles.
DOROTHEA III's hull is constructed of 20-millimeter steel at the keel, 12-millimeter steel going out from the keel, and turning into 8-millimeter steel all the way to the bulwarks. The superstructure is FRP with carbon fiber stiffening in high-stress areas.
The owner will consider a partial trade of a smaller yacht, aircraft, or real estate.
