A frequent sight in these waters, this boat is for sale due to the owner seeking a larger version. Frequent use and frequent maintenance give rise to a very reliable boat and your early inspections are highly recommended.
Introduced in 2003, the Sea Ray 340 Sundancer replaced the previous 340 Sundancer (1999--2002)--a popular model in the Sea Ray fleet for several years. Wider in the beam than her predecessor, with a newly designed cockpit and a deep-V hull, the sleek styling of the 340 Sundancer conceals an interior that seems remarkably spacious for a 340 model that is actually a 37' boat. The cabin is well lit with seven ports and overhead hatches, and the upscale decor is accented with rich cherry cabinets and earth tone fabrics and upholstery. The layout is typical of most Sundancer interiors with a pedestal berth forward and convertible settees in the salon and midcabin area. Corian counters and quality hardware are found in the galley, and privacy curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin. Semicircular lounge seating is aft in the cockpit, and an electric hatch lifts to reveal a rather compact engine compartment. The helm is notable for its excellent design and good visibility.
