The Catalina 36 MkII is easily handled by a couple, has a big comfortable cockpit, spacious interior with two private cabins. As one of the most popular sailboats in the world, experienced sailors consider this model the perfect boat for their lifestyle. Seakindly moderate displacement hull that tracks surely and performs well in a variety of conditions. The hull is rugged, hand laminated, solid fiberglass. The keel is lead with integrally cast stainless steel bolts. This wing keel model drafting only 4' 5" will allow you the privilege of shallow water anchoring in your favorite coves. The mast is keel stepped and has inline spreaders with fore and aft lower shrouds, a very sturdy and easy to tune rig.

Entry into the cabin down 4 steps has full galley to port side aft with double sinks, top load refrigeration, stove/oven (gimballed), top load dry pantry, storage above & below. The fully private starboard entry aft stateroom is a large athwartships berth sleeping 2 very comfortably and with hanging clothes locker with storage drawers, side opening port windows and topside opening hatch. Ships Nav/Chart table w/seat, ships AC/DC service breaker panel. Spacious salon offers L shaped settee, stow away dinette table & converts into double berth with filler cushions. Single seats starboard side w/game table that also convert into single berth. Leading forward has chest of drawers & hanging clothes locker across from head. Private head to port side with shower, bench seat, sink, storage above & below and ensuite entry door into forward stateroom. Vee-berth sleeping for 2 with private stateroom door, ensuite head entry, hanging clothes locker and chest of drawer storage. There are 7 topside opening hatches & 5 side opening port windows for natural ventilation.
