Wow, you don't see a boat this clean and loaded with desirable options often. She must be seen to fully appreciated the condition of this popular Meridian.
From Powerboat Guide: The Meridian 540 Pilothouse offers buyers a level of comfort usually associated with more expense yachts. Pilothouse boats have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their handsome lines and all-weather cruising capabilities. In the case of the 540, Meridian designers delivered a notably handsome yacht whose graceful lines incorporate the best in modern pilothouse styling. Built on a modified-V hull with a wide 16'3" beam, the three-stateroom interior is as spacious as it gets in a yacht this size. The focal point of the 540 is her large pilothouse with its wraparound dinette, flybridge stairway, and centerline helm position. Large windows offer a panoramic view from the salon, and both the master and forward staterooms are fitted with queen berths. Clever storage solutions, a full complement of home-style appliances, and a well-appointed decor make the Meridian’s interior as practical as it is inviting. Additional features include a flybridge davit, extended swim platform, bow and stern thrusters, and flybridge wet bar. Note that the engine room is accessed directly from the cockpit. A modest performer with Cummins 635hp diesels, the Meridian 540 will cruise at 20+ knots.

Side-Power Sleipner Vector Fin Stabilizer System
Side-Power's Sleipner Vector Fin Stabilizer system is a unique solution to an old problem: Seasickness. With Sleipner stabilizers, you can virtually eliminate that awful feeling of being seasick, whether underway or at anchor. Fin stabilizers is the only system that provides effective stabilization both at anchor and while cruising at planing speeds, and Side-Power stabilizers are about 30% more effective than all others. The curved shape of the Vector fins provides a more effective, more efficient method of stabilizing your boat at any speed, from at anchor or station-holding, to underway at speeds up to 43 knots. They are approximately 50% more efficient than conventional flat fins, and unlike flat fins, the curved Sleipner fins create enough lift to offset drag, resulting in virtually no loss of speed unlike flat fins. Sleipner Vector fins are designed for vessels between 52 and 150 feet.
One look at the revolutionary Vector Fin™ shows you that it’s different from conventional fin stabilizers. The shape directs anti-roll forces more efficiently. This means they can be smaller than conventional straight fins. This reduced size with the same power, hydrodynamically optimized fin profile, and lift induced by the shape helps reduce any drag caused by adding stabilizers. In most installations, we see no loss of speed or efficiency - in some, we have actually seen gains in both top speed and fuel economy.
