Outlander a 2002 Robertson and Caine tried proven to be a comfortable liveaboard and sails quite well, gleaning about 60% of the wind.
Outlander is easy to board from a dock or dinghy and it is easy to move around from the cockpit to the salon and four cabins. You will find, that most catamarans of this vintage are not as well designed. Climbing over seats in the cockpit is very common in other models. Access and comfort moving around the vessel feels effortless on the Leopard 42. The Leopard 42 design has significantly influenced the new catamaran designs.

Outlanders equipment has been renewed during the last four years as a partial refit. The previous owner and current have done the expensive parts of the refit on Outlander saving new owners time and money. Same with the engines, they do not seem to need anything but continued regular maintenance. They have operate just like NEW.
Outlander just completed a season living aboard in the Bahamas, with all the shakedown that comes along with such a trip, so a pile of normal bugs have already been worked out, and Outlander is ready to be put to use.
