The Swan 48 is one of the best fast cruisers designed by Gérman Frers. The yacht is suitable for both, 

distance racing and blue water cruising. There are several structural changes made into this yacht in the factory. One is a longer starboard settee, serving as an additional sea bunk, and another is relocating the chart table from the saloon into the aft cabin that enables talking distance to the cockpit. This also ensures better navigation while sailing the yacht. It’s deck, winch placement and running rig have also been modified to make sailing with a small crew easier. It can even be handled solo. 

This yacht is being sold by its first owner. The yacht is currently in winter storage in the Mediterranean (Leros Marina, Evros S.A.). This Yacht has crossed the Atlantic in 2017 and came back to Europe in 2018. While crossing to Europe, this yacht and its two-handed crew won the ARC Europe. 

This yacht has been stored on the hard for three years and therefore it is known that she needs maintenance (checking all mechanical equipment, engine, cooling refrigerants, electrical equipment, batteries, rigging, seacocks, etc.), to make her seaworthy. Also, the teak deck requires repairs and maintenance. These issues have been noted in the asking price of this yacht.
