The Hardy Fishing 24 is a versatile utility boat equally suited to many uses from fishing to support and rescue work, dive boat to rugged compact cruiser. Over 150 have been built to date of this classic design, offering excellent sea keeping qualities and stability on anchor that have made them so popular over the years. Avet is a desirable later build extended wheelhouse versions with lots of recent upgrades including Cummins QSD diesel engine and Mercruiser outdrive.

The Hardy Fishing 24 extended wheelhouse version offers a forward-facing wheelhouse with helm and navigator positions, settee berths to port and starboard with compact linear galley to port and a small forecabin with V-berth and a marine toilet beneath. Good storage is provided beneath seating and the cabin sole, with excellent natural light and ventilation throughout. Externally, the large self-draining aft cockpit can easily accommodate four adults for fishing and deck access is excellent. Engine access is also superb, with the engine located under a lifting GRP hatch with plenty of room in front of the engine for servicing.
Located in an insulated and fire retarded moulded GRP engine box, Cummins QSD 2.0 turbo charged diesel engine (new 2011). Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls. Mercruiser Bravo 2 outdrive leg (new 2022) with stainless steel propeller. Eltrim adjustable trim tabs with automatic controller for improved performance and efficiency.
The engine has been regularly serviced and well maintained.
12v Battery charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains and battery charger. Electrical distribution system with battery isolator. Full cabin lighting.
Hardy Fishing 24 extended wheelhouse built by Hardy Motorboats Ltd in 2000. White GRP hull with blue styling stripe, superstructure and decks with non-slip surfaces. Self draining aft cockpit with large scuppers which can be closed when required. Large stern platform shaped for ease of access and man overboard retrieval.
