The Catalina 36 is a very popular design, for a very good reason. More then 3000 hulls were made and the Catalina 36 is one of the most sought-after designs ever built. It is a comfortable coastal cruiser, with great performance in light to moderate wind, very well balanced, built well and easy to use. "Wiley" has all her lines leading to the cockpit so it's easy to sail even when single handing or with a limited crew. On top of that, with a 12 VDC water maker and 510 watts solar power, you can stay off-the grid for a long periods of time. "Wiley" is the Tall Rig version of the MK II with the deep water keel. The sugar scoop is great for swimming and hanging with feet in the water. It is also a great fish cleaning table with hot and cold shower right there. It is already in the Sea of Cortez, one of the best cruising grounds on the planet with countless virgin anchorages, great fishing, diving & snorkeling. The Mexico mainland on one side and the Baja peninsula on the other - how can you go wrong?

Sails
The owners repaired minor issues with the sails like:
Adding extra UV thread to beef up.
Patch minor imperfections.
The main is fully battened and a dutchman furling system lets the sail fall fully contained on the boom. Makes it very easy for a single handed sail drop.
The sails are all rigged to be run from the cockpit even by one person.
There is a single line reefing system on the main.
A winch can be used to adjust the 125 genoa as needed to reef.
To the genoa sail we added a new and larger sunbrella cover for full coverage of the dacron when furling quickly.
The original 100 jib is onboard as well.
Brand new gennaker with running gear readied.
There is a nice spring loaded vang on the boom.
Electronics
The B&G Zeus T-12 touchscreen with AIS, great Radar and active forward sonar overlays are a blast....especially with the go free wireless logged onto your ipad in your bunk!
