2000 Beneteau 361BENETEAU 361 – 2000
Tranquilo is an ex-charter Beneteau 361 who has been in the Great Lakes since 2013. Her current owners have undertaken cruises to the North Channel over the last two seasons. Tranquilo is a solid, beautifully designed boat (two cabin version of the 361 Oceanis). In 2020 the hull was stripped to the gel coat, the keel was faired and all professionally painted (x4 coats of interprotect). As may be expected in an ex-charter boat there is some wear (ie. sun damage to the hatch lenses and surface gel coat crazing across the deck). The engine has been well maintained and has run extremely reliably but has high engine hours and will ultimately require rebuild/replacement in the near future. With some attention (reflected in the price) Tranquilo will provide amazing cruising fun for many years to come.
