The most distinctive feature of the Larson Cabrio 244 Mid-Cabin is the generous interior proportions. It measures 24 feet, 4 inches at the center line with an 8-foot, 6-inch beam. The clean lines and styling of the new Cabrios are complemented by Larson Cabrio graphics. The mid-cabin and cockpit are larger than other boats in this class, providing room for entertaining, relaxing and stowing gear. The stern area will accept optional filler cushions. A stowable cockpit table is also available. A molded step gives easy access to the bow. A double-wide helm seat provides comfort and visibility for passengers, and there's a Clarion stereo with cassette, AM - FM and four all-weather speakers. The forward cabin has a large seating - sleeping area. A table becomes a bunk filler when converted to a sleeping area, covered with 3-1-2-inch cushions. The enclosed head has a full fiberglass liner with an opening port window for light and window with optional screen. The galley has an optional 12V - 110V refrigerator and two choices of stoves. The aft-cabin is seven feet long and over four feet wide. An elevated mid-cabin entrance along with a sliding, screened window keep the entrance roomy and well ventilated. The new Cabrios feature the famous Patented Duo-Delta Conic hull. Lifting strakes were added to these hulls to soften impact in rough water and get on plane even quicker. Extra wide chines, with chine one up at hullside, add excellent stability both while at rest and underway, providing a dry ride. Another feature of these hulls is a notch separating the forward and aft running surfaces. The notch creates a wave of water under the aft section to lift the transom on acceleration for fast planing and minimal bow lift. At speed, the Patented Duo Delta Conic hull glides over the water so the 244 can run faster and further on less horsepower and fuel. Buyers have their choice of Mercury or Volvo Penta engines ranging from 220 to 310 horsepower, with a 60 gallon fuel tank extended range. An optional snap-in cockpit carpet may be added to the operating area, and can be removed for cleaning. Other options include: grey water drain system, hour meter, 12-disc CD changer and city water hook-up.
