This is an amazing opportunity to own stunning Canadian flagged yacht for personal pleasure or charter.
Entering the cockpit through the transom door, on the starboard-side is the summer galley with a BBQ, sink, fridge and lots of storage. Port-side (before entering the salon) is a super-convenient day head.
The interior of Safari is light and bright with its Maple and Madrone Burl joinery.
Heading into the salon there is a large sectional L-shaped sofa to starboard, and to port is a recliner armchair and curved bureau. Also to port and further forward is the companionway to the master suite and machinery room.
At the forward end of the salon is a room dividing cabinet housing the TV and entertainment equipment.
Two steps up is the dining area that is part of the open design, but still has its own feeling of privacy and intimacy. It can accommodate up to eight diners.
Along the port side between the dining area and the galley is a long built-in wet bar and sideboard with beveled glass doors, and an 18k gold-plated sink.
Next forward is the incredibly spacious galley. The island counter houses the cooktop and there is room for the three bar stools. There is a full height multi-door pantry, floor to ceiling fridge and freezer plus a long working area with full-size under-counter appliances.
Up the next level forward is the pilothouse and lower helm station. Port-side are the companionways to the flybridge and lower staterooms and crews quarters. The pilothouse has a forward facing guest settee and table. Two comfortable custom helm chairs, finished in leather. Port and starboard doors lead to the side decks and foredeck.
From the pilothouse, stairs up to the flybridge and upper helm. The area is fully enclosed, and has U-shaped settees with seating for up to ten or twelve guests. The boat deck is aft with a summer galley, and a centreline crane that can hoist tenders to either side of the yacht.
There are two separate accommodations areas: Down from the pilothouse are two guest cabins, each with their own heads and showers, and two crew cabins that share a head and shower. Down from the salon is the master suite with private head shower and jacuzzi tub, and access to the laundry and machinery space.

Based in Tacoma, the Nordlund Boat Company is an admired builder of custom yachts, designed by revered naval architect Ed Monk Jr, guided by the owner's vision. Safari was outfitted right when new, and has had a history of ongoing care from attentive owners:
Master Stateroom
Down from the salon is a foyer with the master suite aft and the electrical and machinery rooms forward. Laundry is in a locker in this foyer.
The master stateroom utilizes the full beam of the boat, and has copious storage lockers and drawers along both sides and on the forward bulkhead.
Master Head
The head is a stunning ensuite with heated marble heated floors, matching marble counter top, Jacuzzi tub, shower and vanity.
Guest Staterooms
Down from the pilothouse is the other accommodations area with two guest staterooms, and two crews cabins
Starboard VIP Guest Stateroom
Port Guest Stateroom
Crew Quarters
Spacious crew quarters are located in the forepeak area, and are easily suited to accommodate additional guests instead of crew.
The captain’s cabin is to starboard with large double pullman style berth
Forward is the second crew cabin with twin V berths
To port opposite the captain’s cabin is the private crew’s head with vanity, lots of storage, and separate shower stall.
The salon is broad and plush with very comfortable lounging. There are huge windows all around bringing in plenty of natural lights and opening the sea scape to guests on board.
The dining area is between the salon and the galley, and although open to the salon, is its own space separated from the salon by a large side board, and from the galley with a forward bulkhead. This bulkhead provides privacy from the galley, and is offset for needed access to the galley.
The galley is incredible, and rather than being a utilitarian space tucked away for crew use only, this galley is gorgeous, bright, spacious, and can be a focal point for owners and guests to share time together while meals and snacks are created.
This is almost a flushdeck design with the pilothouse up only one step from the galley, which in turn is only up three steps from the salon.
The array of electronics, radios, switches, systems controls, monitoring equipment, and engine controls and gauges is extremely tidy and very well arranged. And room to lay out a chart.
Access the flybridge up stairs from the pilothouse, and through a large sliding glass door. Here are two Stidd helm seats, finished in white leather, a large U-shaped settee for lounging and al fresco dining, and continuing the theme below, a neatly organized array of navigation and communication equipment, and systems monitoring and controls.
Aft of the settee is the summer galley with barbeque, wet bar, working surfaces, and plenty more storage, along with two bench seats.d
The boat deck is huge, with room for two tenders, all manner of water toys, and still added lounging space aft of the tenders.
There is a second tender that is not included in the sale, as the owner intends to keep it. However, its inclusion is negotiable.
This second tender is a Grady White 180 Fisherman Center Console with:
From a dock or a tender, board the swim platform, and enter the cockpit through the transom door. The cockpit is teak clad, and the rest of the decks are non-skid fibreglass. Two steps up on port and starboard lead from the cockpit to the protected side decks and foredeck, all on one level, save for one step yup to the foredeck, for safety and ease of movement.
There is a day head to port in the cockpit, under the boat deck ladder.
Also in the cockpit is another summer galley, with Gaggeneau bbq grill, sink with hot and cold faucets, prepping area, and storage lockers.
The cockpit lazarette separated from engine room with water tight door

As you enter the electrician and machinery spaces, first is a utility room with a stainless steel workbench, built-in tool drawers, storage cupboards.
AC power is supplied to the vessel via shore power, or via either of two John Deere generators, or based on available battery capacity, and for lighter loads, via the inverters.
Safari has one of the brightest and thoughtfully laid-out engine rooms we have seen. It is brightly lit and all sides of the engines and surrounding systems are easy to access.
The Detroit engines are painted red with blue trim and stainless steel exhaust risers and valve covers. These are not only striking to behold visually, but practically, this makes it easy to quickly identify potential corrosion or leaks.
Motive power comes from the venerable Detroit Diesel 12V92 Series engines rated at 1,100 hp each, and with DDEC monitoring panels.
