Top Gun is one of Australia's most well known and fastest offshore racing, come short term cruising catamarans. She has won most of Australia's and Asias offshore races over a stellar career. She has set a number of race records along the way. Professionally built in foam, kevlar and epoxy glass, Top Gun's design and success is proven over the years. Since her launch she is still in the same design configuration without needing any design modifications except recent longer dagger boards and rudders to handle her increased speeds due to upgraded sails and sail area. She received a complete and comprehensive refit from 2017 and completed the last bits in 2020. The refit included new carbon dagger boards, carbon easy glide up and down dagger cases, deeper carbon rudders and a new direct steering system. All new carbon and laminate sails, new high grade running and standing rigging, mast refitted, new Selden boom, winch upgrade to all sheet and halyard to Andersen electric. All new Profurl and selden furling systems, completely rewired, new solar and lithium done professionally by Barrenjoey Marine Electrics in 2019. New single engine mounted centrally in the cockpit pod, new spectra nets in 2017 and recently turned over and restrung. Electric anchor winch fitted the list goes on. Main pod can accomodate 4 at a squeeze when in port with a bunk either side in the hull bows if required.
Main pod forward bunk can sleep 3 across or a queen bed with fridge opposite or quickly convert to two singles with a space in between each bunk. Mattresses easily store away. This gives flexibility in a small area depending what mode the boat is being used for.
The sit at galley is on the starboard side with a single portable stove, sink with hand pump with a 15 gallon water tank under the cockpit floor plumbed to the sink.
The nav station is on the port side of the pod with everything at easy reach. Its a tight area in the pod but as everyone that sail her says, its very functional even after three weeks cruising two up as we've done on many occasions between major regattas.
Simple racing style single burner stove and sink with a 45 litre fridge. Storage cupboards.
All Selden deck hardware, Karver reef hook system for mainsail reefing,(3 reefs). Automatic headboard set up for square top mainsail (no pinning needed). All Yacht Spars 20 meter rotating alloy mast and Selden boom. Spinlock ceraminc jaw jammers and clutches, Fracnor 5 ton halyard lock for screecher halyard. 12 foot self hold up bow pole with spreaders. Spectra netting. German mainsheet system. B&G Zeus 7 inch chart plotter, Raymarine Tack Tick wireless wind speed/direction and depth/ speed etc with slave Raymarine duplicates. Raymarine EV1 autopilot with hydraulic ram that connects to tiller driven by head unit. Raymarine VHF and AIS. Enerdrive 200amp Lithium battery with built in BMS and app. 70amp starting battery. All new in 2019. Muir anchor windlass. 2 x 120 watt 2 x 55 watt Solbian solar panels.
12 volt system all rewired professionally in 2019. ample charging points. switch panel at nav station Simple hand pump in gally. Pump out vacuflush toilet in starboard hull. portapottie for holding tank if required.

Top Gun is in excellent turn key condition. she's had nothing but the best of equipment fitted by an experienced multihull owner. her refit was well over 400k to get her into the condition she's currently in. Her price is right, she just needs a new owner that wants to do safe fast miles on a legend of a race cat either short handed, one or two up or fully crewed of five.
