The Harwood Ives designed 33' Hans Christian is perhaps the best example of combining seaworthiness, sailing performance, storage, and comfort in a vessel under 40 feet. This Hans Christian cabinetry of solid teak and teak and holly soles appears to be in good cosmetic condition and shows well. She has received many recent upgrades recently including new bottom paint and all thru holes have been serviced in 2022 and one replaced. Her solid deck is not cored which is unique to the designs from 1982-1987.
This beautiful vessel sleeps 5 in 2 staterooms and 1 settee berth. Forward is the enclosed cabin locker. Aft of this locker is the head with sink and stand up tiled shower stall, single stainless steel sink and vanity with marble counter top.
A Queen sized Pullman berth to port with two opening ports, two reading lights, and bookshelf's, Portable oil lamp, drawer & locker storage beneath and hanging locker. The Navigation Station to starboard has Lift top chart table with storage beneath; AC-DC Electrical distribution panel, shelving for books plus navigation and communications equipment.
There is an L shaped settee to port with fixed dinette and fold up extensions. Located to port at foot of companionway the galley has custom cabinetry, 3 burner stove and double stainless steel sinks. Straight settee opposite to starboard seats two. There is storage lockers and cabinets above and beneath both settees. Quarter berth with privacy door located to Starboard is a double bunk with ample storage, two opening ports and Hanging locker.
The engine is located under companionway, the stairway constructed to allow quick and easy removal and abundant storage space.
