Sin Nombre is freshly on the market and is very well maintained, and up-kept example of this Robert Perry designed boat, built in 1981 by Nordic Yachts. She has had 3 previous owners, and her recent owner has regrettably moved back home, after living on her full time through out COVID, here in the stunning Langkawi Islands.
Robert Perry himself once said: the Nordic 44 "... Is the most beautiful yacht we have had built to our designs. " and Sin Nombre is proven to be a solid blue water cruising boat, with 2 spacious cabins, and an open and airy saloon and galley area.
Lovingly maintained, with a refit in New Zealand as she made her passage from Mexico through to Australia and Asia, she is ready for her new owners, and awaiting their arrival patiently. All 2009 sails have had very little use and in very good condition.
Aluminum spinnaker pole. Selden rod-kicker. Selden Furlex 300S genoa furler.
Dyform wire with Norseman fittings. Fore and aft lowers, mid and mast-head stays. Forestay with furler. Removable inner fore stay for storm sail. Back stay with Harken adjustable tensioner. Chain plates attach through the deck to knees molded into hull.
Main halyard and control lines led aft through Lewmar stoppers for easy shorthanded sailing. Halyards and control lines are Spectra core with Dacron cover for minimum stretch and long life.
Harken backstay tensioner.
Hauled out June 2020: 3 coats antifoul, cutless bearing and dripless seal replaced, max prop serviced.
