The Bertram 42 is one of the few yachts of her size built on a deep-V hull, enabling her to handle sea conditions that would keep many other motor yachts in port. The fresh water cooled twin 6 cylinder Detroit turbo-powered diesels have been immaculately well-maintained, as has the 12.5Kw generator. She has radar, a Garmin GPS/Sounder, Raytheon Auto-pilot with remote, VHF radios, 2 compasses, a Glendenning synchronizer, and rudder angle indicator.
