Maintenance programme
- There is a thorough professional preventative maintenance programs in place on board LA PERLA. The list below highlights recent works.
- The teak-wood decks was completely sanded (for the 1st time)
- The teak-wood banisters were completely sanded and treated
- Small damages to the parquet flooring in the main salon were repaired
- The chairs in the main salon were re-upholstered
- The external part of the salon (the lounge area) was re-upholstered – the lounge chairs were given new cushions
- New teak-wood lounge chairs for the sun deck were acquired
- A space on the third deck was completely redecorated
- Previously a gym, was turned into a library
- New external Bose speakers
- New signal signage for the vessel and the cabins
- New eaves and awning for the spaces occupied by the crew
- New boxes for the deck (for the crew to use as seating)
- Appliances were regularly maintained (ice machine and dishwashers)
- Coffee maker machine was regularly maintained
- A new convection oven for the kitchen was purchased – new, smaller, refrigerators were acquired, for putting away small items
- A new washer and a new dryer machines for the crew's quarters
- Crew's quarters were redecorated, the floors were re-done and new lighting solutions and new light switches were added or replaced were needed
- New digital thermostats in all spaces were our guests spend time
- New light fixtures in the cabins (ceiling light fixtures, bed-side lamps, new light fixtures on the chests of drawers, new above-the-mirror light fixtures in the bathrooms)
- Damages on the furniture were repaired, the furniture was given new handles, the cabins were given new mirrors and new ottomans
- Cabins 9 and 10 were completely redecorated, given new luxury flooring, new wall papers, new curtains and décor pieces
- New bed spreads and (partially) new bedding
- New towels
- New décor pieces for the cabins: paintings, decorative items
- New LCD TVs in cabins 6, 7 and 14
- New décor pieces throughout the main hall
- Brand new fine set up for the guests' dining experience
- New flooring for the crew's salon and the Captain’s bridge
- Captain's chair with new material
- AWLGRIP exterior paint on the superstructure
- Turbine was regularly maintained (by ABB service centre in Rijeka)
- Brand new case for the cooler
- Both generators (CAT C4.4) were regularly maintained, within the scheduled maintenance intervals, by an authorized service company (Tehnoxgroup)
- The main engine's regulator was regularly maintained
- New flooring for the engine room
- Regular maintenance for the sea pumps and water pumps
- Regular maintenance for the air conditioning devices
- Regular maintenance for the main engine
- New parts for the high-pressure pumps
- New gear wheel and chain for the added pump
- Check-up for the axis
- Check-up and balancing for the propeller
- Main overhaul of the air bottles
- New rubber coupling of the main engine and clutch
- Regular maintenance for the hydraulics on the bow thruster
- New tender Highfield 760 with Honda 250hp outboard engine
- Regular maintenance for the outboard Suzuki 20hp engine (engine of the Zodiac 3,80 m tender)
