Being an advanced material in boat design aluminum has been around since the late 1800's The first aluminum boat was built in 1891. The use of high strength aluminum, such as used in Marinette Cruisers, has been employed in the construction of Navy, Coast Guard, work as well as pleasure boats.
As far as Marinette is concerned "You may tear her up - but you will never wear her out".
The Marinette Express has great accommodations for the day cruiser or family overnighter. The cockpit can be cocktails or day fishing with your friends. The helm has excellent views with new helm and companion seats. The salon woodwork is like new(Refinished 2007 inside and out). Portside galley is up opposite is the convertible dinette. Private head with privacy door(new sink/faucet 2016). Head/holding tank replaced(2007). Forward is the V berth with drawer storage. Deck hatch forward provides cross ventilation thru out.
