CASH FLO II is a Hiptimco fiberglass commercial fishing troller in excellent condition. She is a turn-key business opportunity with a nearly new John Deere 6068 Engine that is ready fish to Salmon next season. She features two 1 1/2 ton Refrigerated Sea Water Systems which will will hold upwards of 4000 Lbs of Salmon at 32 degrees. She features a new Garmin Electronics configuration. The boat carries 400 gallons of diesel in two tanks and cruises at 8 knots burning 4.5 gallons per hour and she trolls at .75 gallons per hour.
Hiptimco boats were well ahead of their competition in quality of construction. The hull and deck are fiberglass with a teak deck overlay. The superstructure is fiberglass - nearly all other comparable manufacturers were building wood superstructures in this era. The saloon and cabin floors are supported by fiberglass - a great improvement over the wooden support structure used in many other boats.

Cash Flo II is a converted Grand Banks-style 40’ fiberglass boat. Almost identical to Grand Banks, but has round chines instead of hard chines, which give her a nicer more sea-kind ride. She’s built heavy with well over 1” of fiberglass under the water line, tapering to about 9/16 on the topsides. A new John Deere 6068 engine was installed last year and now has around 800 hours on it – just broken in.
She has two 1 ½ ton RSW systems to hold upwards of 4000 Lbs of Salmon at 32 degrees (I have never totally filled the holds since I built them, because I don’t fish that hard any more).
Fuel capacity around 400 gallons, fresh water around 150 gallons.
Cruises at around 8 kts at 1800 rpm for about 4.5 gph, trolls at around .75 gph – overall fuel consumption for trolling/running combined, depending on the length of runs is between 1.5-2.1 gph – she’s very economical to operate.
Sound insulation in engine room, you can have a conversation in the wheelhouse without raising your voice at running speed - also very quiet on deck.
Three 8D batteries for house and starting banks, One car battery for emergency communications (mounted under seat in wheelhouse per USCG requirements). No ABY switching necessary, it’s all automatic via battery combiners.
200 Amp alternator
Top of the line Garmin electronics installed just this spring. Two 10” GPS plotters (one used as CHIRP fish finder, the other for the Doppler radar), one 12” plotter used for navigation – all networked together, so you can use either of these for any purpose you want.
One older Furuno 48 Mile open array radar – works fine.
One older Icom VHF radio, One Yaesu digital VHF radio (reaches out about 80 miles if you have any friends that use this technology), one VHF radio with AIS receiver, one 2-meter radio that’s modified to also receive/transmit on VHF frequencies (reaches between 20-40 miles depending on weather)– two antennas installed on this one via a selector switch.
Malcolm Russel black box to tune in just the right voltage to attract these salmonids
Stereo with Bose speakers in the house and deck speakers for tunes outside while fishing.
Simrad AP50 autopilot
Engine heated water heater and engine heated heater for the wheelhouse
A GREAT 2-burner propane stove/oven
Water filter at the sink, pull-out faucet and soap dispenser
Electric head, plumbed into the fresh water system to prevent odors.
There’s a new refrigerator (installed last year) and a good-sized chest freezer (also last year).
New upholstery on all seats and bunks
The hull was painted with Awlgrip paint about 3 years ago
New Deck-70 coating on deck also around 3 years ago.
2 fire extinguishers (one halon, one dry chem), and one automatic fire extinguisher in engine room (halon)
All necessary safety gear and all fishing gear are included in the sale, and so are enough hand tools to fix anything on the boat, and hardware bits and pieces to last you for years….
This boat is turn-key. Bring enough coffee and consumables, and go fishing.
Everything on the boat is top-notch and meticulously maintained
