|Model||Perkins Laker 33|
|Aangeboden door||Fay's Boat Yard, Inc.|
Built at 16 Perkins Lane, Holderness, NH, by Perkins Boat Livery for a Dr. Erikson. It is believed that the boat was originally designed to be 40’ feet long, but the Perkins shop, which remains today as part of Perkins Cabins, could only accommodate a 33’ build. It is though that the designer was CG Pettersson and maybe brought over to the States with a man called Frithiof Erickson in 1909-1910.” This 33' vessel is powered by Palmer 6 cylinder. 120/h.p. motor. The boat has spent its life on Squam Lake, until 1980, when it was brought to Lake Winnipesaukee, and has been on the lake since.
This Laker is a beautiful classic that represents the history of boating here on Lake Winnipesaukee. The boat was built in 1910, and has been here on the lakes region since. It has been well maintained over it's history, while maintaining the equipment, structure, and lines of its lineage. It is powered by a 50s vintage Palmer 6 cylinder motor. The Viking is a return to relaxing touring the lake in comfort. The boat is in its slip, and is certainly worth a viewing.
This classic in a unique boat that would warrant a viewing to totally appreciate it. It is not at our boat yard, and does require an appointment to view.
