The 56.65m (184’) MP 300 TRIXPLORER superyacht concept has been revealed and designed to have a minimal environmental impact. She has a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system, as well as solar panels and wind generators.
With the MP 300 TRIXPLORER’s maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, this vessel has a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles thanks to state-of-the-art diesel propulsion with minimal emissions, together with a hybrid system that allows operation in an ecological and low-cost way for long navigation periods with zero emissions.
The TRIXPLORER can accommodate up to 12 guests on board. She has an infinity glass swimming pool, a large gym, a sauna, a library, and a cinema on board. For maximum service aboard, this vessel is also capable of carrying 21 crew.
The Owner has his own deck which includes a spacious bedroom with his and her bathrooms, an office and an observatory lounge.
With aluminium construction for unrestricted navigation, the concept MP 300 TRIXPLORER is a new multihull exploration yacht, designed as an offshore motor trimaran, with superb seakeeping & station keeping capabilities developed for professional trimarans and offshore wind farms or oil & gas platforms. Which require operation in the most severe conditions on the globe on a continuous, safe, reliable and comfortable manner, without forgetting its efficiency and low cost of operation and maintenance.
She features huge exterior and interior surfaces, similar to those found on yachts greater than 75 meters in length or more, with an interior layout designed for long stays on board while maintaining autonomy and privacy.
Particular attention has been paid to sustainable and recyclable construction, as well as to the hybrid operation of the propulsion and hotel functions, making the most of sustainable energy recovery with very low or no emissions.
These strict parameters, added to an interior and exterior distribution without limitations, with the demanding operational limits and levels of comfort and functionality expected by the most demanding Superyacht Owners and crew, have resulted in this attractive and different vessel.
The MP 300 TRIXPLORER yacht is sought to combine all the really important key points for an explorer: huge space, owner/guest and crew independence and functionality, a very efficient, robust and at the same time light hull to allow electric propulsion, which can navigate in ice areas and do Transpacific crossings without inconveniences, low consumption and maintenance, with a remarkable seakeeping and a station keeping very optimized to allow you to stay in a place without anchoring (protected areas) and even avoid expensive marinas by staying in hybrid mode in DP, with solar and wind recharge.
Everything has been optimized: the tenders, the helideck, the operation of the submarine, the beach club, the stowage capacity and the ease of loading and unloading, the spa/wellness area and the large, glazed areas to have a true balcony over the sea.
Finally, special attention has been paid to the details that make the difference between a coastal navigation yacht and a true explorer: plenty of tenders and toys to explore (no need to call a tank truck every three days), what to do with the garbage, have available and truly isolated cabins for unanticipated guests or medical emergencies, a large capacity and autonomy helicopter with permanent hangar, all the water & land toys, a real submarine and a multitude of other details that make life easier in every corner of the globe.
