Built by Knysna Yacht Company, a boutique yacht builder out of South Africa they have combined a sleek silhouette with a stylish interior and equipped the vessel with all the liveaboard comforts to take a couple anywhere in the world. The key features in the design of the Knysna 500 SE allow her to be easily managed short-handed.
The wide transom steps at the stern and dive platform offer easy access for swimming and boarding the tender for trips ashore. Relax on the bows, on the trampoline or in the covered cockpit where the oval teak table seats up to 8 comfortably. The cockpit area is a nice venue relaxing and entertaining.
All cabins are bright and light with double beds, air conditioning and fans. The open-plan saloon offers a multimedia system with flat screen, surround sound and 360-degree views of the surroundings. Aft the sliding door open, the saloon and cockpit merge to create one large living, dining and relaxation area at anchor, mooring or under sail.
Invictus is the four-cabin version and has only been sailed by her current owner and her permanent skipper. Invictus has comfortably completed two transatlantic voyages. It is obvious that care and attention are lavished on her and she is very well maintained.
