When designing the J 111, J Boats had identified a niche for an international one design with an exciting performance balanced with the ease of handling for which J Boats are acclaimed.
The J/111 is an easy-to-handle, comfortable sailboat that accelerates quickly, slices to windward at 7+ knots and hits double-digit speeds downwind. Performance to date in a wide variety of sailing conditions has been nothing short of remarkable.
Lightly sailed in in the Port of Fowey since 2012 as “Proper Job” and campaigned in 2018 as “Sgrech J111” in Pwllheli Sailing Club and Irish Sea Offshore Racing Association (ISORA) series.
This J111 is a very tidy example and equipped with high spec B&G electronics and North Sails she is ready to race or indeed for performance cruising. She has the upgraded interior layout with the additional cabin for Offshore racing.
