It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. Lifted ashore each winter (except this year, 2019)
June 2017 de-masted in collision (under motor) with unknown vessel at night.
Vessel safely motored to Lefkas, Greece, was placed ashore, insurance surveyor assessed mast and damage to side of hull. Yacht kept ashore that winter. Full repairs to rig/hull carried out under insurance, inspected and signed off by surveyor for insurance company. Was ready to sail for 2018 season and has been sailing ever since.
