Tiente Forte, a Rinaldi Sintesi 45, is the joint collaboration of a designer (Santarelli) and the owner of the yard (Rinaldli). Together they designed and built this fast-offshore cruiser, with an especially streamlined outline and racing capabilities. This yacht is both a raceboat and a racer/cruiser for the enthusiast who wants to enter regattas and compete. She is looking for an owner who wants a comfortable 45-footer for very fast passage making. Boats from this yard were built to order, this one the IMS version with four cabins, a large saloon and one head forward. This is a practical layout allowing her to be sailed shorthanded. Her engine is fitted in the middle of the saloon and is one of the most easily maintained and accessible units I have seen of late.
Her present owner sailed her from Italy to the Solent with just two people onboard. This impressive yacht is very roomy, minimalist and well-engineered. It has a feeling of simple robust practicality about her, clean and well-maintained. This is a yacht that can be made very comfortable with some interior work, but with achieving serious cruising speeds, the owner regularly makes 16 knots on passages.
If you would like to look at Tiente Forte, please contact Nick Ward on +44 7900 191 326 and he will arrange to collect you from any of the Island ferry terminals and show you over the boat.
