Accommodation
This Beneteau Oceanis 50 offers 8 berths in 3 cabins and the saloon with approx. 6'4" max. headroom.
Master en-suite cabin forwards: This has a centre line large double berths with a large amount of stowage - Hanging locker to port, eye level lockers both sides, vanity desk to starboard with lift up lid, seat and large locker. The en-suite heads compartment to port has an electric marine toilet, basin and large shower compartment with semi-circular rotating Perspex shower screen.
Saloon: The large and comfortable saloon has a U shaped dinette to port with table that rotates to form a coffee table or opens up for a large dining table. Two stools on the centre line (with bolt down kits) ensure that at least eight people can eat at the table. To starboard of this is a settee. Cream leather upholstery in the saloon and pacific blue in the cabins. Stereo/CD player with cockpit speakers and TV/DVD mounted on bulkhead with remote control.
Chart Table: The forward facing chart table is aft of the settee. This is fully equipped with navigation instruments, 12V & 240V distributions panels plus generator controls.
Aft Heads: Aft of the chart table is the very generous day/guest heads compartment with electric marine toilet (with holding tank), basin and shower. With access from the saloon and aft starboard cabin.
Galley: Opposite and to port is the clever L shaped galley. The twin sinks are located toward the centre line, have covers, pressurized hot and cold water, plus manual foot pump operated supply. There is stowage under and large top loading waste bin. The galley itself has a gimballed upgraded ENO four burner gas cooker with grill and oven. 220V Eno Microwave oven. Large domestic size front loading fridge with freezer section plus a top loading fridge.
Aft Cabins: Two double aft cabins have very large beds, hanging lockers and shelving. The starboard one has a door direct to the aft heads compartment. The interior is fully equipped with mosquito and blackout blinds to all deck hatches plus curtains to all windows and hull ports. Large number of opening ports throughout the interior.
She is fitted with a Webasto seven outlet central heating systems.
Spars & Sails
Fractional Bermudan sloop rig. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Sparcraft.
Stainless steel standing rigging with adjustable backstay. Rod kicker. Terylene running rigging led aft to the cockpit. Standard Slab reefed main. Harken mainsail and genoa tracks. Vertically stored spinnaker pole on mast. Removable inner forestay for storm jib with additional halyard.

Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway in soundproofed and vented compartment. Yanmar 4JH3HTE marine diesel engine. 110hp. Four cylinders. Fresh water cooled. Shaft drive to three bladed Max Prop propeller. Single lever engine controls. The engine gives a cruising speed of some 6.5 knots and maximum speed of some 8 knots.. Maxpower Bowthruster and Generator.
Electrical Systems
Six 12v batteries (3 x domestic 1 x engine 2 x Bowthruster 1 x Generator) smart charging from engine alternator and battery charger via 240V shorepower supply and Generator.

Engine water intake pipe, re design:
In the unlikely event of taking on large amounts of sea water through a breach in the hull, one can use the power of the engine to help drain the bilge, by using the engine water intake as a huge powerful gulp sucker, the same emergency system can be seen being used on the huge container, cargo & cruise liners.
A Raymarine hybrid touch chart plotter, ideally positioned inside spray hood canopy, perfect position to view the screen, AIS , boat position course etc, whist having protection from the elements.
Slightly redesigned seating stools, these can now slide together to make a much more sensible sized midship bed.
Upgraded Suzuki 6hp petrol 4stroke outboard.
