The interior of this luxurious Symbol features teak wood paneling with a sumptuous gloss finish. May of the cabinet faces are louvered for aesthetics & functionality. The carpeting is off-white pile, with the upholstery and covers in black & tan/gold, thus creating a formal, yet elegant, atmosphere.
Entering the salon from the cockpit, an L-shaped settee and teak wood table are to starboard. Built-in cabinetry with a Sony TV/VCR and wine cooler to port. Large windows with tasteful gold drapes provide plenty of natural light. The ceiling panels are covered in sculptured Majilite vinyl, and are removable for convenient access.
The galley is forward on this level and features a sizeable Corian counter with a raised bar top & fixed stools. All of the appliances are top-quality, including the Sub-Zero refrigerator and Fisher & Paykel dishwasher.
Walking forward up a short stairwell (to port) is the pilothouse, which features teak & holly flooring & a large U-shaped dining settee to starboard. Twin stainless steel pantograph doors (port & starboard) allow for easy & secure access to the wide walk-around side decks. The lower helm station is equipped with state of the art electronics and a Stidd helm chair.
Talking the port stairwell below decks, the master stateroom is located midships with a centerline queen bed and master head to port. Walking forward, the guest stateroom is to starboard with the guest head to port. The VIP stateroom occupies the bow and shares the guest head via a private entrance.
The flybridge can be accessed from either the lower helm of the cockpit and features a bimini top and twin Stidd chairs. The lounge seating (port & starboard) is covered in tan & white striped Sumbrella.
The engine room is entered via the aft deck through an FRP molded stairwell. All equipment is thoughtfully laid-out and easily accessible. The wire & plumbing runs are neatly hidden behind white aluminum perforated sound shielding. Beneath the cockpit and accessed via a deck hatch is located roomy lazarette space, perfect for extended cruising storage.
