As you step on board this 36' Bertram you will find a spacious, well laid out cockpit. There are two custom Offshore bait tanks. The current owner has also added removable seat cushion covers for both bait tanks so when it's time to cruise there is comfortable seating in the cockpit. Forward of the Port bait tank is a freshwater sink and a refrigerated cooler/drink box. The freshly SeaDec’d cockpit has dual fish boxes and easy access to the lazarette compartment. This boat has a fantastic bow for tossing a bait to a marlin or for lounging. Up forward there is a Maxwell windlass with foot controls as well as controls at the helm. There is also a large safety rail for easy access from the cockpit to the bow.
Stepping up from the cockpit is a very comfortable helm deck. To the port side is a twin sized helm seat that offers great visibility for guests. To the starboard side is a freshwater sink with a very large tackle center below to hold everything you might need for an extended trip. Forward of the tackle center is the helm with captains seat. Everything is placed extremely well for both visibility and easy access. This Bertram is equipped with Volvo electronic controls that include synchronization, low idle, and troll functions. The dash has a Furuno FCV-582 sounder that is connected to a 1kw transducer. The radar is a Furuno Mk-41 4kw open array. Chartplotting is provided by a Garmin echoMAP SV. There is also a separate B&G Network quad depth, speed and temp unit.
This Bertram is equipped with a custom pipewelders tower with double spreader Rupp outriggers. The tower control station has excellent visibility and has a very comfortable seat for three people. There are full controls in the tower including steering, throttles and electronics. There is a control head for the Simrad AP-22 autopilot, a Garmin echoMAP 62cv GPS unit, and a SIMRAD Plotter.
As you slide open the door leading down into the salon, you will find a very spacious and airy salon with a beautiful maple finish. At the bottom of the stairs and to the starboard side is an L-shaped settee that converts into double bunks and has a full length table. To the port side is the head with a full size separate shower that is a real bonus in a boat this size. There is a freshwater Raritan head, large sink and vanity. The entire salon is Air Conditioned. Forward of the head is the large galley complete with undercounter refrigerator/freezer combo, two-burner Princess electric cooktop, GE microwave, and large sink. There is plenty of storage throughout and a place for everything. There is a built-in Panasonic stereo with 8 disc CD changer connected to Clarion speakers throughout. All the way forward is the master stateroom with a queen sized berth, dual hanging closets, rod storage, A/C control, Panasonic TV, and folding door for privacy.
This Vessel is powered by the Volvo power plant package that is easily accessible via a hydraulic lift that lifts the entire helmdeck forward for easy access to all areas of the compartment. Twin Volvo TAMD73EDC Diesel engines with 430 horsepower apiece cruise this vessel in the mid 20 knot range. The Volvos are known for their reliability, efficiency, and low decibel level. The engines are electronically controlled at both the helm station and the tower station. House 110 volt power is supplied by an 8kw Kohler Diesel generator that provides plenty of power for all the systems onboard.
