The 57' Mckinna is a very practical, intelligently arranged pilothouse motor yacht that is heavily built, and great for cruising. The Mckinna is truly a fantastic vessel with great construction and beautiful finish work.
"Patsea Lee" has a three stateroom, two full head interior, with a large salon and large windows giving the boat a very open feel. The pilothouse has great visibility and also has direct flybridge access, making this a great boat for small crew handling.
Equipped with the optional MAN diesels, this boat can be efficient at reasonable RPM's, cruise at 20 knots, and can still get up and run when time is of the essence.

"Patsea Lee" is a three stateroom / two head layout finished in a custom maple interior. The master is mid-ship with a queen berth, and large ensuite head which includes a tub/stall shower, and fresh water toilet. The master has a LARGE cedar closet, and is finished with beautiful Avonite counter tops.
Forward is the VIP stateroom which has a double berth, and just aft is the third stateroom with single upper / lower berths. These two staterooms share a full size head with a stall shower.
The salon is full beam and the galley is fully equipped for extended cruising.
In the cockpit you have complete entertainment center with a includes a grill, wet-bar, an ice maker, and cockpit controls. There is also excellent access to an extended platform that is one of the highlights of the boat.
The pilothouse has a complete electronics package, and L-shaped seating with a dinette table.
Up on the bridge there is another complete helm w/electronics. A low profile davit is mounted aft to launch the upgraded tender and up on the bow is bench seating which converts into a large sunbed.
I think the 57' Mckinna is a beautiful pilothouse motoryacht this is often overlooked by prospective boat buyers, especially in the Great Lakes Market. What other large cruising yacht could you buy that offers so much for such a modest price?
Some interesting information: a search for motor-yachts 55' - 60', 1997 or newer for between $300,000 and $400,000 produces only eight results in the Great Lakes Region (only 59 nationwide). Of the eight, three are Carver Voyagers, one is a Navigator, and the remaining boats from the search are improperly categorized (two Sea Rays and a Viking Convertible). Of these boats - the Mckinna stands out as an interesting choice. Top of the list in my book.
I have dealt closely with three 57' Mckinnas, and I have cruised / delivered them all. I can tell you with certainty that these yacht run nicely, and handle very well. The interiors are accommodating and the systems are SIMPLE. Dockside, the boat is predictable, and with the optional Man Diesel Power (600), this hull design runs well in both following or head seas.
I had the pleasure of running the "Patsea Lee" to the Great Lakes from North Carolina with the current owner, and I can personally attest that this boat has a good soul (many of you boaters know what I am talking about). Additionally, the 57' Mckinna is a compelling yacht in a market with limited choices within these parameters.

The success of the McKinna 57 Pilothouse is due in large part to its broad appeal - more than 40 of the McKinna 57's have been delivered since the boat was first introduced in 1997. The deck design is quite versatile and can be configured to most any need. What's more, although the list of standard features is impressive, the options are numerous as well. Owners may choose from several two- or three-cabin layouts. All offer gracious and spacious accommodations for family and guests. The main deck can be configured either galley-up, with the galley on the pilothouse level, or galley-down, with the galley on the salon level.
