Base for this wonderful and seawothy design was design number 169, from the hand of reknown naval architect Koopmans Sr. With advise from the designer, the stern of the yacht was enlarged a bit in the actual build. As a result the yacht even got nicer lines, with a bit more shear. Above all, the yacht became more pratical in use.
The hull was build a the Dutch quality yard van Waveren, where a lot of Koopmans hulls were build those days. Also building this particular hull was well thought over, with using proper materials. The keel sole is fabricated out of 10 mm steel platening, whereas the sides of the keel a parts of the hull were build out of 5 mm. On deck, a stainless steel mounting rim was welded for installing the superstrucre later. Also rubbing strakes, sheard guard, puttings, bow fitting, stanchion foots and rudderstock where made out of stainless steel.
Currently the yacht belongs to her second owner, who took the yacht over which as much love as the first owner had for the yacht. Ever since then, the yacht was kept with great care and various renewals where made. Reliable and seeworthy design, with beautiful lines. Well taken care off, by experienced owner.
