The Island Packet 35 has a 35 ft waterline but measures 38 ft over all. That is why Island Packet 38 would be a better indication. During the construction of the Island Packet, everything was intended to make a strong, seaworthy sailing ship. This has been achieved since the hull of the Island Packet can have a 5x higher impact than comparable boats. In addition, the diesel and water tanks are placed under the floor for good sailing characteristics and the decks are easily accessible and safe due to the high toerail.
Also because of the continuous keel and the rudder on the skeg, the Island Packet makes an extremely suitable boat for (long) sailing trips. More specs on our website jachtmakelaardijkappers.nl
