This is a well maintained classic 46' sportfish which is ready to go.
She was previously owned by a couple from Texas where they had the boat registered. They were fishaholics and brought the vessel to Freeport, Bahamas to fish. They would fly in for a week or two at a time, stay on the boat and fish and then fly back home leaving the boat in the care of a local captain who would maintain her.
The husbands health was failing so they put the boat up for sale and she was purchased by a local watersports operator. In order to keep the boat in the country he paid the Bahamas Import Duty. That means that you can keep the boat in the Bahamas for as long as you want and not have to pay $300 a year for a cruising permit. If you want to take the vessel back to the US you just have to pay the state tax where you register it.
The local water sports operator added it to his fleet and did a lot of charters with the cruise lines. Because of that the vessel had to meet the cruise industry standards and be maintained in top shape. Cruise lines are very strict about standards of who they send their passengers with.
Because of Covid 19 and collapse of the tourism industry the seller is getting out of the business and selling his entire fleet.
She is currently in dry storage in Freeport Bahamas at Bradford Marine.
She is ready to fish and live aboard.
She is Bahamas Duty Paid.
