The 28 Cape Dory 28 is a graceful Downeast style cruiser whose Lobster boat heritage can be seen in her salty workboat profile. A number of these were built for commercial applications. The 28 was built on an easy riding semi displacement hull with a moderate beam, rounded bilges and a fully protected prop. The standard floor plan for the 28 have a single stateroom floorplan with a V-berth forward, a compact galley and an enclosed stand up head compartment, set up for shower. Additional features include wide sidedecks, good service access to the engine, and sliding cabin windows. She sports the optional 200hp Volvo Turbo Diesel. New stuffing box 09/20, Heater runs off engine when running. Headroom 6'23". Anchor with 10' chain/100' rode marked every 20'. Icebox and 2 burner propane stove.
