A very extensive interior refit in 2009 from stem to stern is absolutely stunning!
Lady Joan is boarded either thru the side rail gate or via the swim platform and transom gate. The decks are teak over fiberglass. There are double doors to the salon forward from the cockpit. Right of the salon doors is a door for direct access to the engine room.
The vessel had a complete interior re-fit by John Pokela, well-known NW interior designer, 2009. Entering the main salon there is an L-shaped sectional sofa to starboard with coordinated club chairs forward and custom hi/low TV entertainment center to port. Forward, up two steps, is the galley.
The Galley like the remainder of the vessel was completely re-done and updated in 2009 and shows it. Galley has GE Profile range, oven and microwave, full size dishwasher and compactor. The designer stainless steel sink was also replaced. Counter tops are granite and the cabinets are done in a high gloss white lacquer.
The pilothouse is accessed forward from the galley on the portside. It features a large raised curved settee for 6 facing forward upholstered in light tan naughhyde, 2 Stidd helm chairs in matching naugahyde and new custom electronics panel with 2-19" monitors and large screen for the Furuno 72 mile color radar between. The engine gauges are clustered neatly to the left of the monitors and radar. There are also controls for the stabilizers and hydraulic thruster.
The master stateroom is gained forward from the pilothouse down gently sloping stairs on the port side. The Queen berth is on center and like the rest of the vessel shows off beautiful high gloss Afrimosa wood work. The master head is to starboard and has a tub and shower enclosed in sliding glass doors with a teak and holly sole and vacu-flush head as well as a granite vanity with flush sink.
The guest staterooms are found down a stairway leading forward from the galley on the portside. The VIP guest is directly under the pilothouse and has a queen berth on center. There is a guest head to port, with separate stall shower and a granite Vanity, all part of the 2009 updating. To port from the VIP is another guest with over/under berths. Just aft of the stairs leading down is access to the utility space with workbench, washer and dryer and another door aft to the stand-up engine room.
