This traditionally designed well regarded ocean passage maker was built to some of the highest standards of craftsmanship which Hans Christian yachts are well renowned for.
With a heavy displacement solid GRP hull, a long fully encapsulated keel and a cutter rig Lyric can take you anywhere you want to sail. With a beautifully crafted teak interior comprising two double cabins and a single head with shower. There are solid marble work surfaces in the galley and heads and beautifully crafted fittings in the saloon and galley. Air-conditioning with reverse cycle heating has been installed for use when on shore power
Lyric had the benefit of a very comprehensive refit from 2010-2012 with a new Yanmar 53hp engine, solar panels, wind generator, electronics, custom full bimini enclosure, and much more.
Since then, in 2018 she was re-rigged with a new mast, new spars, new rigging and new sails and recently had her bottom paint ground back to verify that there was no osmosis.
All the deck varnish has recently been beautifully refinished. The teak deck boxes are in good condition but the teak side decks need a little tlc.
