Repowered in 1993 with Detroit 8V92TAs and Twin Disc 5111 v-drive transmissions. During that time the deck over the engine compartment was raised to the same level as the main deck. The engine hatches were built and temporarily sealed with only an access hatch left to go in and out of the engine room at center. The result is standing room in engine room and very little water can come through hatch.
