The boat is located in Charleston.
The main cabin features 6'4" standing headroom, comfortable settees forward. One settee can convert into a comfortable single berth. The lockers outboard of the settees are accessed via beautifully crafted, solid wood, panel doors. In these days of electronic navigation a formal chart table has been replaced by a drop down desk large enough for a lap top computer. Outboard of the desk is the back-lit main electrical panel mounted in a locker face. The navigation desk easily drops down to make a full length settee or berth. The galley provides the necessities for onboard meal preparation. Hot and cold pressure water, double stainless steel sink, 2 vacuum panel insulated refrigerated ice boxes and LPG stove with an oven as well as a microwave. Aft is the entry door to a second sleeping cabin that provides privacy not always found on other yachts of this class. A hanging locker provides storage while overhead and cockpit hatches provide plenty of fresh sea breeze. The head compartment features a shower area and electric head. Light and ventilation are provided by an overhead Lewmar hatch and a stainless steel port in the house side. Light and ventilation in general is provided by opening ports and skylights plus the companionway. Completing the interior ensemble is the spacious forward cabin, accessed via a paneled door in the main bulkhead. With plenty of storage in a hanging locker and bureau an extended stay on the Alerion 41 is easy. The forward cabin has plenty of ventilation and equal amount of privacy.
Owners' personal belongings. A complete list will be provided upon request.
