Great Southern Marine Yacht brokers are proud to present the 2011 Maritimo 56 Cruising Yacht 'Marian' for sale as central agents.
'Marian' has had only two owners, with the first owner having close involvement during the build resulting in a very special vessel. Her stylish 56 profile and exterior lends itself to a more modern persona than that of an earlier model Maritimo. For ultimate underway and at -rest stability she was spec'd with a Seakeeper Gyro stabilizer when built. Powered by twin Volvo D13's @ 900 hp each she offers a fast 28 knot cruise if desired. The Onan 17.5kva genset takes care of all the appliances including air conditioning throughout, dishwasher, clothes combo washer/dryer and watermaker.
The mid-master island bed has a delightful picture window to port and its own private ensuite/head. The forward guest cabin features a double bed, and a cabin to starboard provides a single bunk. A two-way ensuite/head services the forward guest and single cabins. The user friendly Maritimo bathrooms are a highlight as usual.
She offers sizeable aft galley with island bench, Miele and Liebherr appliances. She is equipped with bow and stern thrusters, and likewise, a wired docking controller. Her enclosed sky lounge helm has a comprehensive spread of Raymarine electronics including dual radar and dual sounder. The sky lounge opens out to a teak laid bridge deck - a perfect parent's retreat. Large teak cockpit and safe walk around decks lead to the foredeck.

Since creating the ultimate range of luxury motoyachts Bill Barry-Cotter and his team of desginers haven't put their feet up for a moment. In fact, they keep challenging each other to go one better. One the new Maritimo 56, a raked bow and longer flybridge has created a sleek new look. By not accepting the status qup, a superb interior design has become even more spacious and luxurious. Open the three-way sliding doors from the vast cockpit and you'll see a superbly appointed galley in just the right position for easy entertaining both inside and out back. The saloon is spacious and light thanks to sliding picture windows but if you ever tire of the water views, there's a flat screen TV/ DVD and surround sound system to be enjoyed in climate-controlled comfort. Below deck, the sleeping quarters satisfy every indulgence in a three-cabin, two-bathroom layout that features an enormous owner's stateroom with private ensuite. Unshackle the Maritimo 56 and you'll soon see how a motoryacht's 'ride' contributes to the pleasure of cruising. Designed with an advanced variable deadrise hull, engines mounted forward and long-range fuel tanks positioned amid ships, the 56 has superb balance and poise, and a more efficient propeller shaft angle of just 9 degrees. Apply the power and you'll never bury the stern, ride bow high - or use fuel inefficiently. Which is probably why you can expect a minimum of 400NM range at planing cruise speed of 25knots.
