"Bedlam" has just arrived back from Mexico and is a duty paid Canadian vessel. This model is built to CE standards with an Ocean "A" rating, and one of the New Generation "Deep Hull" series which Selene developed for extended cruising. This hull design provides better fuel economy, hull speed, and overall sea worthiness along with proper engine room headroom. Over the last few years, her owner has enjoyed extensive cruising to both Alaska & Mexico. "Bedlam" is extremely well equipped, maintained, and is cruise ready ! Custom ordered with a de-tuned John Deere 341hp. diesel, her estimated range is 4,500nm at 6 knots or 3000nm at 7.95 knots. Easily handled by a couple, this amazing vessel has stabilizers, marine reverse cycle heat and air conditioning, two gen sets, commercial grade dive compressor, Kabola diesel hot water hydronic heating system (even in the cockpit and flybridge), water maker, bow and stern thrusters, and "Get Home" system. Bedlam is a Selene 58 with the 3 stateroom layout. The VIP is forward with the Guest stateroom/office next aft to starboard, and the Master stateroom is located centerline amidships. There are 2 heads aboard with electric heads. The VIP/Guest head is forward next to the Guest stateroom across the foyer hall on the port side. The Master head is located ensuite in the Master to the port side. Both feature amazing stonework and bright, airy showers. Staterooms are forward down a set of steps from the pilothouse as well as a set of steps to the Master stateroom off the galley. This private stairway allows owners access to the Master stateroom down 5 steps and also to the engine room. Aft of the engine room is the Commissary, which is full-beam and includes a deep freezer. Aft of the Commissary is the lazarette, which is accessible through the Commissary or from the cockpit hatch.

The Selene 58 Galley is u-shaped on the starboard side aft of the Pilothouse. It is both bright and roomy, giving owners and guests the ability to create wonderful meals aboard and enjoy each other's company. The Galley is at the forward end of the Main Salon and has storage cabinets above, below counter, and across the Galley at the steps to the Master Stateroom.
The Pilothouse aboard Bedlam is impressive. With side deck access doors, steps to the flybridge, and great views through the reverse-raked windshields, navigating this impressive vessel is easy for a couple.
The Pilohtouse features 2 side-by-side Stidd Helm Chairs, L-Shaped settee that guests can sit while cruising or dining at the table, and a pilot berth that is concealed as a fold-down berth for extra guest or anchor watch.

The Electrical Panel for Ships Service is located as you enter the Pilothouse from the Main Salon/Galley area. It sits amidships with a clear door for instant information as to battery conditions, switch selection, and shore/generator selection.
Storage in the Pilothouse includes drawers below the settee, large table space for charts, and drawers and cabinet for equipment and service.
Access to side decks are via port and starboard doors, which are Dutch-style for variable fresh air needs.
Steps at the port aft end of the Pilothouse lead up to the roomy flybridge enclosure.

The Main Salon takes advantage of the almost 18 foot beam, giving owners the space to entertain or simply relax. The L-shaped Settee sits on the starboard side as you enter from the aft deck.
To the port side is a storage cabinet, 2 barrel chairs (with foot stools below), and long counter with storage below for Galley appliances and pantry items.
There is a flat screen TV with entertainment system, as well as CruiseAir Reverse Cycle Heating and Air Conditioning. In addition, the Kabola diesel-fired Hydronic Hot Water Heating System gives wonderful climate control in cool temps. This system is also plumbed to the aft deck enclosure and flybridge.
Located forward, this stateroom features a centerline queen berth, storage on each side as well as hanging lockers. There are 4 round opening port lights with stainless steel covers. These open for fresh air and include screens.
The VIP has a separate head access through the door on the port side. There is an overhead hatch with OceanAir screen and sunshade. This is a very roomy and bright stateroom that will please any guest.
Designed to accommodate the communication needs for a busy owner, this is set up with desk space for printer and computer, hanging locker space, and a Pullman-style berth that can accommodate a guest. A second guest can use the Pilothouse watch berth if needed.
There is wireless capability aboard for internet needs.
Located behind the Engine Room, this is a fantastic area that offers full-beam storage options with a deep freeze on the port side, open foyer for loose gear, as well as storage lockers with shelves on the aft wall for all of your pantry needs. In the starboard side locker, a commercial grade "Nuvair" dive compressor was installed.
A Selene feature often used on most of their models, this Commissary offers good head room to stand up, just as the Engine Room does. Access both forward to the Engine Room and aft to the Lazarette. You can walk through the engine room to the Commissary and Lazarette, or access these areas from the cockpit aft deck hatch.
Located amidships aft of the Master Stateroom, this is a full-beam and walk-in engine room. You have great access to systems and room to work in a full-height engine room. Owners will appreciate this engine room with 5'10 height in the engine room. The John Deere engine has access on both sides. The upgraded 20 KW Northern Lights Genset is located on the aft bulkhead of the engine room behind the transmission. This yacht also features a Get-Home System that turns the main shaft.
Engine room blowers and exhaust port and starboard provide ventilation. The ESI Fuel Polishing System ensures good fuel quality for the 1,600 gallon diesel capacity aboard Bedlam.

Accessed by a hatch in the cockpit or through the Commissary, this is a full-beam space that allows direct access to the steering gear. There are port and starboard lockers for gear storage and also battery lockers. The Watermaker is located on the Port side behind the Commissary door. It allows owners to get to the system and service filters.
The Commissary and Lazarette are covered with a rubber-type sole for an easy-to-clean surface that keeps things from sliding around. The Kabola diesel system is located in a locker on the port side. In 2014, an Onan 9kw gen set was installed in this area as well to serve as a back-up unit. It has only 40 hrs. use
This is a fully enclosed cockpit with port and starboard boarding doors. There is access to side decks forward port and starboard through the canvas and eising glass doors. The Kabola System heats this area so that owners can enjoy the aft deck even when the weather is wet or chilly.
A teak table is set against the aft end of the cockpit for alfresco dining or a glass of wine among friends. Views to your surroundings are quite refreshing from this vantage point.
Access to the Lazarette and Commissary, as well as engine room can be made via the aft deck hatch.
Steps down to the swim step give access to dock or tender, with stainless steel rails (removable) for tender boarding. The Glendinning Cablemaster 50 Amp shore power cord exits from the starboard aft corner of the swim step, with a door that folds down over the cord exit. Lastly, down-rigger brackets were custom made and a trolling valve installed for the keen fishermen.
This is a huge area. Fully enclosed with factory FRP hardtop, the flybridge is great to navigate from, in good weather or bad. Matching E120 Raymarine screens as below give you instant access to navigation information. Bow and Stern thrusters and helm controls are at your fingertips. Visibility forward and aft allow you to maneuver with precision. Featuring 2 white helm chairs, the flybridge gives owners great views while cruising. An L-shaped Settee allows guests to join while underway or for entertaining and dining options on the gorgeous Teak table. Access to the boat deck aft is via the enclosure zipper doors. Window canvas can be opened on sliding tracks for fresh air. Locker space and a commanding helm make this a very pleasant flybridge.
The Selene 58 is built to Category "A" Ocean CE capability. The Deep Hull Series gives this extended cruising range from the previous 57 foot models. It allows for a taller engine room, Commissary, and Lazarette.
