This Sun Odyssey 50 DS has been in her current private ownership from new. Her inventory includes bow thruster, generator, reverse cycle air conditioning, hydraulic passarelle, teak side decks, full canvas pack as well as a complete cruising equipment list. She has been very well maintained by local professionals for the owner, who has spent 4-6 months living on board each year. Berthing and storage facilities in Greece can be passed on to the new owner, making her perfect for anyone new to cruising this area or a consortium of owners. Her owner is giving up sailing, hence Crosswind is being sold with a very full cruising inventory. She was surveyed in July 2017, a copy of which can be provided on request.
VAT has not been paid on this vessel and will need to be paid in addition to the purchase price depending on the circumstances of the new owner.
Two of the biggest names in naval architecture teamed up to create the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50DS. Philippe Briand designed her high performance hull, while the Garroni Designers lent her an elegant style. Together, they have conceived the ideal sailboat to meet your every expectation: fluid lines, design and construction certified by the Bureau Veritas, a streamlined keel and appendices for excellent performance at sea, and a comfortable, modern interior. The three-part cockpit features twin steering wheels at the helm, an open-air saloon with comfortable bench seating for entertaining around a generously-sized cockpit table, and an additional lounge area for relaxing while underway.
