The Grady-White Marlin 300 features detailing from the tip of the bow pulpit to the back of the transom, and from the cockpit seating and helm and companion areas down into the roomy and handsome cabin.
The Marlin, now has a handsome teak and holly cabin sole. There is a very nice, sturdy teak dining table. In the 300, the teak table stows away conveniently allowing more room for the comfortable vee berth, which is surrounded by a teak storage rack.
The galley's cabinet top sports a durable Corian cutting board. The board lifts away to reveal a roomy cooking surface. A refrigerator and microwave complement the other cooking appliances. The enclosed head finishes the cabin and it is plenty tall. Up on deck, starting at the bow, the newly designed bow pulpit is easy to use.
The powerful 250 Four strokes push the vessel close 40 miles per hour quietly and efficiently.
Both engines approximately 550 Hours and well maintained.
Great Yamaha digital engines gages can be setup to show a variety of information simultaneously and in the order that you want it displayed.
As you walk down three convenient steps into the salon, you notice the galley on your left and the large "wet head" on your right. The galley has a below counter refrigerator, a Tappan microwave and a one burner electric stove along with a sink and cutting board area.
Directly ahead is the easily convertible V-berth. With little effort it becomes a table or simply an open space for seating and visiting.
Just behind the steps is a roomy, comfortable "cuddy cabin" just right for another couple or it makes a great "fort" for the kids.
As you enter the boat from the engine bracket or swim ladder, you come in thru a solid transom passageway. The oversized cockpit has room for several people to fish at once while easily accessing the 30 gallon live bait tank.
There is a stowable couch attached to the transom and padded seating above the storage areas behind the helm seating. Also under the padded areas is another sink and ample ice/storage areas on either side of the helm.
There is a shower wash-down and a raw water wash down on the transom. Also on the aft transom wall is the access for the batteries and the battery switches along with rod and long pole storage on either side of the gunwales.
The helm is very comfortable. All switches and gauges are within easy eyesight and reach. Digital Yamaha gauges are very flexible with their set-up and the auto-pilot controls are within easy reach. The electronics are very handy and easy to tune and manipulate.
The SIMRAD CX44 is right in front of the Captain for convenient "heads-up" operation. It combines chart plotting with radar navigation. The presentation of depth, water temperature and other features are easily controlled and manipulated.
Other switches and control including the handy bow thruster, windlass and switches are convenient for easy and safe operation.
