Eastern’s 310 Casco Bay runs on another thoroughbred Downeast hull from famed designer Royal Lowell. Her graceful sheer, flared bow, clipper stem, and full keel have given her legendary seaworthiness. Unlike most of Lowell’s hulls, though, our 310 has hard chines, giving her excellent speed, efficiency, and stability both underway and at rest. With a modern 370-400-hp diesel, she will cruise comfortably at 16-18 knots even in rough seas, while her classic flare and forward spray rail keep her windshield dry.
Over 450 of these 31′ hulls are running on all three coasts and the Great Lakes today. Some are fishing commercially, many are carrying fishing charters or hard-core recreational anglers, and more are cruising with their families. We can finish one for you as a basic workboat, a Coast-Guard-certified passenger vessel, a state of-the-art sportfisherman, or a lobster yacht with all the teak trim. Our standard Casco Bay model adapts well to any of these uses, with or without a flying bridge. Accommodations below include a roomy forward V-berth, an enclosed head with shower, and a hanging locker.
Her pilothouse offers comfortable helm and companion seats, a settee/dinette that converts to a double bunk, and a galley with two-burner stove, countertop, sink, and refrigerator. Her roomy cockpit can host picnics or adapt for fishing action. Options include heating/air conditioning, a 3.5 kW genset, a molded transom platform but we have broad experience with custom installation of other equipment requested by owners. There are two 8D batteries that are 2 years old. There is a 11 gallon hot water heater. Total water increased to 85 gallons. There is solid Teak flooring through salon area. There is a water Hydro system for the two 8 D batteries for ensuring long battery life and ease of maintenance.

This boat has a Simpson Lawrence windless with a 35 lb. CQR anchor, 25' of chain and 200 ' of rode. The bow pulpit was custom built and is not standard on this model.
The SS side rails are higher than standard and offer a much safer feeling moving forward and aft on the side decks.
There is no wood on the outside of the boat, all hand rails are composite materials.
