The balsa-cored deck is through-bolted and bonded with elastic polymer to the hull. This method of building provides for superior strength and rigidity. The cockpit-deck includes swim platform and ladder with shower, walk-through transom with hinged helm seat for easy access, wheel steering, pedestal instrument console and folding cockpit table, aft-mounted genoa sheet winches for easy shorthanding, wide coach roof and deck lounging areas, five hatches and 10 opening ports to provide ventilation.
