This well-made French cruiser is fast enough for around-the-buoys racing but strong enough to take her anywhere offshore! The Pretorien 35 was built by the renown builder Henri Wauquiez to a quality level that far surpasses most production sailboats, and approaches some of the better custom builders! This vessel offers exceptional value in a capable blue-water boat, that is quick enough to enjoy on the Wednesday night races. Over 200 of these fine vessels were produced, and she boasts six longitudinal stringers for rigidity, unique bulkhead attachments and exceptional joinery throughout.
"Steadfast" has been in the same family since 1986, and has had exceptional care throughout her life. She had a new Volvo engine installed in 2000, and a new saildrive installed in May, 2015 (with a new folding prop!) The deck has wide side decks and a very low cabin (both professionally painted in 2006), which makes moving around a breeze. The cockpit is wide and roomy and has a complete set of cockpit cushions. Sails are complete with a good main (2006), a #1, #2 and a #3 (Blade) as well as a new racing genny (mylar) and 2 spinnakers.
Down below the cabin is wide and spacious, and has brand new ultra-suede leather cushions (July, 2015) in the main cabin and the v-berth.
Last Bottom job: May 2015, Last Engine service: May 2014. Upgrades include:

As you enter thru the companionway, you quickly notice the abundance and quality of the teak cabin, and the beautiful teak and holly cabin soul. To port there is an oversized nav table and a 6 foot long settee. The large table in the center of the salon has two fold up leafs that provide ample room for dining and guests. The starboard settee wraps around the table, and all the cushions were just re-covered in ultra-suede leather which is a very tough synthetic fiber that wears like iron and washes up with simple soap and water. Moving forward is the head with sink and shower, and a large storage locker outside the head. The v-berth also has new ultra-suede cushions and extra storage on the port and starboard bulkheads. Moving aft on the starboard side is a unique galley with the Wauquiez trade-mark tile counter tops, stainless steel sinks, refrigerator and a 2 burner propane stove and oven. On the port side aft is a double-wide quarter-berth with a door for privacy.
