The Crown OE 36 is a class of 36 ft sailing yachts, designed in 1968 by OIle Enderlein, from whom the "OE" signature stems. The design is characteristic of the 1970s, with a distinct width at the middle of the hull, a narrow stern and bow, medium long fin keel and a skeg in front of the rudder.
A majority of the OE 36 yachts were co-built by the owners and professional boat builders at Sundsör Shipyard AB in Oxelosund, Sweden.
Ollie Enderlein was the chief designer at Halberg Rassy and was responsible for the HR352 to HR49 range, the OE 36 was his own interpretation of a solid but fast cruising yacht, with a lovely classic wood interior.
The owner informs us that she benefits from having had preventative osmosis treatment in Germany with a warranty lasting until 2020.
Edansu II presents really well, if you are in the market for a true classic thoroughbred this yacht is a must see.
