Starting forward, the forward cabin is very comfortable and well appointed. It features a large double berth as well as built-in drawers, hanging lockers, separate access to the head, and enough room to dress in comfort. The louvered door separating the forward cabin from the main cabin looks nice, and assists in ventilating the forward cabin.
Forward of the salon to port is the head. It is nicely proportioned for both dockside and off-shore use. It features the usual marine head, sink, vanity, h/h shower and abundant storage. The shower drains into a separate sump, not into the bilge.
The salon features a conventional lay-out with a settee and pilot berth to starboard and large dinette to port.
The u-shape galley is located aft to starboard and has a gimballed propane stove, refrigeration, double sink and excellent storage.
Across from the galley is the comfortable, well-designed navigation station. The quarterberth aft of it converts to a double berth.
The vertical deckhouse bulkhead also allows a dropboard to be left out when it rains, further improving ventilation. Joinery is of excellent quality throughout.
The complete electronics array includes auto pilot, radar, chartplotter and a class 1 epirb.
The complete inventory includes:
Designed for fast passages under sail and ease for shorthanded crews. The large cockpit has comfortable seating while sailing or relaxing a the dock. Visibility from the helm is excellent. The three bladed Flex-O-Fold prop reportedly adds a half knot under sail, while the 2008 55HP Westerbeke (1,487 hours) provides plenty of power when required.
The roller furler is about five years old and the manual La Frans windlass reliably handles the 45lbs CQR Anchor and its 200' of chain. A 22lbs anchor is also available.
Aft the Forespar dinghy davits and boarding ladder complete the package.
